Have you ever felt overwhelmed when, from time to time, it seems as if your family members are in a spiritual battle with all of the Goliaths?
Me, too, and without getting into too much personal detail, my family has been going through this season over the last two weeks. Today, as I reached for my computer and did my morning prayers and meditation, I was reminded of a powerful Biblical story.
The story of David defeating Goliath remains a powerful reminder of courage and faith, especially during our own difficult times. Family struggles can feel like daunting giants, whether we’re facing illness, financial difficulties, or conflicts that seem insurmountable. It’s natural to feel overwhelmed and isolated in these moments.
David approached Goliath not with traditional weapons, but with faith and confidence. The little-engine-that-could story teaches us that our greatest strengths in overcoming family challenges come from resilience, compassion, and support from one another. Just as David rallied his community, we can find solace and strength by leaning on our loved ones and fostering open communication.
While family pains can be incredibly tough, they can also deepen our connections and understanding. By embracing the spirit of David, we can confront our challenges together and find hope and peace even in the hardest times.
Don’t stop PRAYING and don’t ever stop PRAISING as we are reminded in Thessalonians 5:16-18.

Goliath.
Fear.
They are not bigger than…
God.
Faith.
God reigns and gives us strength to defeat out Goliath’s…
God bless us all…
