Divine Mercy

Palm Sunday arrives as a whisper carried on green branches — a day when joy and sorrow walk side by side. We remember and venerate Jesus entering Jerusalem not with the thunder of kings, but with the quiet courage of a servant riding a humble donkey. The people waved palms as if welcoming triumph, not knowing they were greeting a Love willing to be broken open.

It is a day of holy tension: celebration woven with foretelling, hosannas threaded with the shadow of the cross. Palm Sunday invites us to slow our steps, to listen for the heartbeat of a kingdom built on gentleness, mercy, and surrender. It is the doorway into a week where love will reveal its deepest truth — not in power, but in sacrifice; not in crowns, but in compassion.

As I listened to Father Mike’s Homily earlier, I felt compelled to share it with you. May your day be full of peace, joy, and love as we continue to carry his message of sacrifice and love for all of us.

Lord, save us!
    Lord, grant us success!

Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.
From the house of the Lord, we bless you.

Psalm 118:25–26
