Have you ever sensed that God is trying to whisper in your ears not to worry about anything? You go about your day as efficiently as you can; yet that same thought lingers, and you are perturbed again. Have you ever started a project, only to leave it a bit later, and as you walk into a room, something catches your attention?

Same here.  This morning, as I’m rearranging some things and minimizing, I “stumbled” across a photo album that I didn’t even remember storing there.  As I opened it, I was gently calmed towards that peace that only God can bring.
I read the postcard I had sent to my parents 35 years ago, as I was in Brazil studying “los meninos de rua” (children of the street).  UC Berkley had chosen me to accompany colleagues in my field of study, and of course, I was elated.
That experience continued to shape my heart, soul, and spirit as I grew into the woman and servant I am today.

Was that postcard a reminder from my angels that God is always in control?  Was it God himself reminding me to continue serving others? To not worry, He’s got this! I believe it was heaven’s knock on my heart telling me that whatever my family is going through will come to pass amazingly and magnificently!

I encourage you to believe in the power of Prayer.  I encourage you to believe that ALL things do work together for our good if we BELIEVE. I encourage you always to keep your eyes and ears open to God’s infinite whispers.

"And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." -Romans 8:28
