“You are my inheritance, O Lord,” I read this morning as I meditated on the Word. Last night, as I was preparing for sleep, a kindred spirit texted me a picture of the gorgeous Beaver Moon she had just taken from her backyard.

Does God REALLY show us signs? Scripture refers to signs as miraculous phenomena that reveal God’s power and glory. They also indicate the fulfillment of prophecy and the coming of God’s kingdom. You can read more about this in John 4:48, Matthew 16:4, and Luke 21:25-27 to name just a few scriptures.

But what about those who take the same picture from a different area at about the same time? Will they, too, see what my friend saw? Does this mean God isn’t whispering to them if they don’t see anything but the moon? Does this mean that God doesn’t love them or they don’t have “enough” Faith? Or could it be that God knows his sheep and THAT ONE lost prodigal son who yearned for an answer at that moment witnessed it first?

I believe that when our ears are open to God’s miraculous whispers and melodies, we will HEAR them. I believe that when we are prepared to sense His hugs, we will feel them. I believe that when we are hungry, we will taste and savor His evening and morning’s manna. I believe that when we are willing to dance with Him, He will impart his groovy music and love to our souls.

I’ve got my disco boots on. Do you?

Below is a video that aligns with my message for you today. Please watch and comment.

The image I saw is like that of a Lion, which is the tribe of Judah is which Jesus Christ is a descendant from. Yes, God has a way of getting our attention in speaking through wind, water, nature, and/or through other people. In Matthew 16: 1-4, Jesus made it clear to the Pharisees and Sadducees that they cannot interpret signs of the times by refusing to show them (Jesus enemies) the miracles of a sign because Jesus knew that the Pharisees and Sadducees were so blind spiritually that they’re in no mood to believe in Jesus Christ.
