Keep an eye out for my latest work: a short story entitled “No Shame in Being Me,” written for such a time as this in which Jeremy falls in love with Paolo; yet feels shamed by his chosen sexuality. I’ve counseled youth in my office (as well as some adults) who have been ridiculed and bullied throughout their young lives for being who they are.
As you might already know, with the current pandemic, our youth’s mental health is in a CRISIS and their suicide rate is skyrocketing! I felt compelled to share my gifts and love of God by drafting this manuscript. I’m excited to finish it and get it published.
