“Surely He Must Cry at Night”

Silent, subtle cries echo throughout the forest…crushing dried and withered leaves along the way. 

Releasing fears known only to him. HIM?

Vigorous winds of uncertainty and third-world shrieks ensue…as the howling reverberates throughout.

Wondering if:

(Love versus Hate prevails…blessings have been aborted? … the bloodhounds stopped sniffing?)

Silent, subtle cries of a man bombarded with Wrath from day ONE.

…..sadly linger to this day.

Surely he must cry at times…he must get weary at others…surely the tears must fall.

He is human like you and me.  He bleeds as you and I. He becomes ill as you and I. He is a child of God as you and me.

….and still, you HATE.  Why?

…..because you don’t like his tone of voice?  His bold mannerisms? His choices for his beloved country?

….because you believe everything you hear and read without researching on your own?

….because you don’t like his skin tone or hair?

(Without hearing the silent, subtle cries that echo throughout the jungle.)

Your shallow and dense jungle? Your gnarled screams? Your abhorrence of the truth?

Your love of self? (You cannot give what you don’t possess…)  

It is time to look within….through that window of your soul….

And “listen” to what bounces KCAB. 

Hasn’t it always been about YOU. ME. US. THEM. THEY.  WE. (TOGETHER?)

(We must dry these tears….and muffle the tainted cheers) 

(We must stop OUR hate before the forest crumbles!)
