“Band of Brothers” is a term used loosely by some and as a cliche by others. In this instance, as long as I have known these brothers, it is a Fact.
I am beyond proud of being from Roma and I am honored to have known greatness. This small community along the Rio Grande River has produced amazing athletes, doctors, pharmacists, attorneys, teachers, nurses, mothers, fathers, and businessmen/women from a variety of fields.

Although I’m not a native of Roma, Texas, let me say this: It does not matter what ethnicity, religion, creed, or origin you are, you have the ability to achieve your goals and accomplish your dreams if you are willing to work hard and make necessary sacrifices. These men, the Escobar Brothers of Roma, TX did not make excuses of not having material things to achieve their dreams. They put their heads together and worked to achieve their milestone and their hard work was rewarded with this special recognition. It is a recognition that is well deserved. Join me in celebrating their success. This is a powerful lesson in not to be jealous of others success and accomplishments. Proverbs 25:27 states “It is not good to each too much honey nor is it honorable to search out matters that are too deep.” In other words, let’s not be jealous of others who are getting recognized for any accomplishments received. If you become jealous of others success, then it’ll result in you being bitter and you will missed the mark of knowing that you did your best effort. Congratulations to the Escobar Brothers of Roma, TX. They are truly role models for young men of Roma, TX can look up to in achieving their goals and dreams. Thank you Escobar Brothers for giving a wonderful gift for young men in Roma to inspire to become in life. May God Bless the Escobar Brothers of Roma, TX now and forevermore always.
