As I listened to Megyn Kelly’s tribute to her sister this morning, I couldn’t help but meditate on my own siblings.  I come from a large family of 11 children.  One sister Manuelita, whom I never knew passed as a 9-month-old, and our baby brother Mike passed about 9 years ago at a very young age as well.

Thankfully, I still have 7 sisters and one brother who are thriving and well, yet there are times when we too forget about life’s fleeting ship, especially since we are all recovering from the Covid-19 pandemic “hangover!”

Soon it will be Thanksgiving day.  May this touching tribute remind us that daily, it’s important to reach out via text, phone call, and/or visits to our siblings while they are still with us.

Thank you, Megyn for the reminder.

What an amazing lady!! Megyn Kelly.. the love that she had and continues to have for her sister.. what an incredible strong lady to be so brave and bold and speak about her departed sister.. Suzanne.. there unconditional love… how many of us.. that are blessed enough to have a sister.. a brother can.. while still alive.. write down.. a “ obituary “ about our own sisters.. brothers.. and have them read it.. before they are gone? Not with only… words of” she was an awesome sister…brother”.. but write them a letter… and let them know.. exactly what your memories of them are.. why wait till then? If they are still here on earth?even if .. we might not have very “ nice things to say”.. but good or not to “good”.. why not? This life here on earth is too short.. we are here in “ barrow” time.. and this world is full of nice and loving people… and if you can’t find one.. let this person be you… start now.. love my sisters…” ainque feitas” 😄but would not trade them for anything else in this world.. love my brother..” gordito .. corajudo” “ pelón” pero lo quiero!💕💪🏽and my heavenly brother.. 🥰he always knew… up to his last breath.. how much I love him.. God bless each and everyone of you… reading this awesome site. Thank you Dr.Mascorro .. my sister! “ la mas fea”🤓love you very much.. very proud of you and your courage for us readers to litsen to this amazing lady! God bless🙏💕

Very well said Sistafriend Nena. It is very important to never take family for granted. If you have sisters, love them and appreciate them because when they leave this Earth, that’s it.

      1. Yes Matthew, thank you for your thoughts and God Bless You.

    2. Yes sistafriend, this was a much needed reminder for all of us. I’m glad you are my sister and I love you and the other 7…God continue to bless you mightily and keep our family united as one with HIM. xxx00xxx

I have three sisters and they all still living. A very important lesson is not take your family for granted. I will not take my sisters and my family for granted. Let’s love our sisters and our family today.

    1. Yes and Amen! It’s our duty to spread the message Matthew.
