Today marks 12 years since my precious mother Manuela went to be with God in Heaven.  At times, it feels as if it was just yesterday; at other times, I can feel her absence immensely.

Today is also the day I proofread my final draft of All Roads Lead to Heaven, which gives me joy and much solace.

Losing our loved ones is the hardest thing we will face as we live on this earth.  I know firsthand, and perhaps you do too.  Remember that no matter the pain, the joy of being reunited with them in Heaven is our prize for a life well-lived in Christ Jesus.

“Meanwhile, all the people were wailing and mourning for her.  ‘Stop wailing,’ Jesus said. ‘She is not dead but asleep.” -Luke 8:52

I honored my mother, Manuela, on the cover of my first novel.

The memories will always be with us until we meet with them again. She taught us so much, whether a phrase, a meal, her laughs and talks…but most of all was the Love she gave us. Non-judgmental but pure L-O-VE!

Congrats on your new book! Looking forward in reading it…Blessings in disguise!
