God has revealed Himself to Sadie, showing who He was… and is, every day. As she progresses with her book, she delves deeper, aware that her surrender will reveal greater treasures.

Her prayer meetings have grown more intense, fueling her desire for truth. Podcasts recounting the history of her Catholic roots have reinforced her faith. Mornings spent at home, savoring moments of meditation that extend for hours, bring her comfort. Indeed, she is welcoming her new chapters.

Retirement won’t signify stagnation for her. She is conscious of the new season she’s entering. As it is said in Ecclesiastes, “To everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven” (Ecclesiastes 3:1, ESV).

She’s fostering new spiritual connections, free from guilt or condemnation, connections that may have been concealed until now. The light shines brightly, providing nourishment. God is closing certain doors while leaving others open, doors that are meant to stay open for life.

Hearing the birds chirp and the kittens meow outside her window, she understands… She truly understands!

She will avoid false prophets, be they emotions like guilt, sadness, condemnation, or even people. Should she weep like Jeremiah and confront injustices? Where is she meant to be at this moment?

Her prayers are fervent, seeking that God’s glory may fill her soul. It’s reminiscent of Ezekiel 43:1-5, where it is written: “The Spirit lifted me up and brought me into the inner court; and behold, the glory of the Lord filled the temple.” (ESV)

She expresses gratitude to her angel Mike and her dear friend Armonia, who sent her a message this morning:

“Sending you some info Mike delivered for you. Hope you’re okay
with receiving it:

Thank you for being there—for being One with God. You are shining a
necessary light on many souls, including those of us who have the plane you
experience.  Know that I hear you; know that I am with you; know that we
support you; know that your work in sharing the Word with others is precisely
what you are meant to do.

Sis, the gathering at church for me is coming up.  Make sure you
share your light; make sure you let everyone know that every prayer or message
is heard, every
thought is felt, and every action is seen.

Don’t feel sad, sis, ever.  But I am here
to tell you that you must slow down sometimes; you
know when that time is.  Make sure you eat well and,
more importantly, rest. Continue watching sports,
and know I will always be beside you.

I leave now, but I
want you to know I have heard from you and am with you.  I am
thankful to you.

Zeke—I leave you in peace, love, and light. Tell her to ‘Be Still….and
Know.’’

Upon reading that text, Sadie takes out her computer, and the writer’s block
she had been experiencing the last few weeks melts away into that sea of
forgetfulness.  She must eat and get ready to get her hair done today. How
did her brother know that she hasn’t had much appetite lately? How did her
brother know that she had trepidation about retiring? What is she retiring
into?

Well….She knows that she knows that she knows that everything is going to be
OKAY.
